KNIT of the DAY (every day) this time features my dear friend and SICK (amazing-est) knitwear designer Charlotte Hess and her label is isobel and cleo !!!
This year I again had the honor of working for her and join her for Charleston Fashion Week where she showed as a featured designer after winning last year’s Emerging Designer Competition.
You MUST check out her Fall 2012 collection … DO IT!
The pic is a random collage of snap shots that I took during our insane week of knitting our asses off!

CROCHET of the DAY - No. 2: More ideas for DIY lamps! Love these crochet pendants.
I’d probably go about making these in a similar way I did the stringy lamp a couple of months ago - so balloon or bowl, clear-drying craft glue, fabric stiffener spray … and of course some crochet lace panels … OK, let’s DO IT!

CROCHET of the DAY - No. 1: Sculpture! Garment! I am in love with designer Jillian Carrozza’s breathtaking freeform crochet designs …

Another installment of my ME MADE SUMMER series - YES, another crop top. BUT this time it’s my own pattern. The color is birch - almost looks tea-dyed. More pieces are on the way.
-
OPEN-work crochet - a glimpse of another crop top. this time it’s my own design. I just used the basic construction of the abydos top by Doris Chan.

This was my contribution to our knit-a-thon a while back. I crocheted for 4 hours straight and then covered a bike rack … I think it’s not up anymore, but I love seeing it around on tumblr. you guys ROCK!
